Kerala Curriculum Framework – KCF 2007

The southernmost state of India,  Kerala sees education as a crucial path for shaping its bright future. In order to encounter the challenges of the present  world, we have to envision a progressive and inclusive educational system. The state government of Kerala, soon after the formation of the state, set the direction for the educational system by declaring that the state shall provide compulsory primary education for all, educational expenditure of all children and free text books and lunch for the needy. The policies followed by the successive governments in Kerala made formal education more accessible to its common folk.
